Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6–8 oz each)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Juice of ½ lemon
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil
1–2 sage leaves, finely chopped (optional)
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the butter, lemon juice, parsley, basil, sage (if using), and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Lightly coat the salmon fillets with a small amount of the herb mixture.
Place the salmon on the grill and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the fish is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
