Tuna Salad with Lemon and Dill
A creamy, fresh tuna salad with bright lemon and dill for a clean, balanced flavor without added salt.
Serves: 2–4 | Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: none
Ingredients
2 cans low-sodium or no-salt-added tuna, in water or oil, drained well
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
1–2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Place the tuna in a bowl and break it up with a fork into small, even pieces.
Add the mayonnaise and mix gently until the tuna is evenly coated and creamy.
Stir in the lemon juice, celery, dill, and black pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
Taste and adjust lemon juice or pepper as needed for brightness.
Serve immediately or chill slightly before serving.
Cook’s Note:
Drain the tuna thoroughly for the best texture. Tuna packed in oil will be richer, while tuna packed in water will be lighter.
